Summer 2012. 1. Back on board, sailing in Scotland


After spending fall in Stromness fitting a new kitchen at Ness, then winter in Canada with daughters and cats, and spring in Turkey , we are finally back on Escapade , enjoying sailing on the west coast of Scotland.


3rd and 4th of July :
Left Stromness on July the 3rd  in the afternoon , heading to mainland Scotland.

Arrived at Kyle of Tongue, next day at 3:15 a.m ,  anchored at Talmine bay .  

 
Left on the same day sailing towards west to Loch Eribol and enjoyed seeing some dolphins and a big whale ( approx. 5 meters ) on the way.

5th of July:
Sailed towards Cape Wrath in thick fog ( about a 100 meter visibility ) for 3.5 hours and arrived alongside the pontoon at Kinlochbervie harbour. 




We are now at Kinlochbervie harbour , preparing to leave soon towards Badcall islands.
